1st - Easy Stained Glass Workshop with Phyllis Cullen
Saturday, October 1, 2022 – limit 20 - 6 hour workshop
Use any stained glass pattern, one of Phyllis’, or create your own. You will then make a raw-
edge fusible, appliquéd, and quilted piece that not only looks like real stained glass but requires
no fussy edge treatments, no bias tape, no fussy quilting, and is quick, easy, and fun!
Then we add some optional oil stick painting, and optional applique, or optional embellishment,
and quilt either free motion or walking foot.
This class is appropriate for beginners, who will learn basic free-motion quilting as well. Full
size pattern included and fabric kits available.
More information has been included in the August mini-edition of the CLQG Newsletter.
13th - Project meeting - Sew & Tell
27th - Program meeting – Easy Outreach Quilts and Outreach Goals
Outreach coordinators Mary Neely and Sue Martin will share easy patterns for charity quilts and guidelines for charities the guild would like to support this year. You'll discover one or more that are a good fit for your interest, skills, and availability.
